What Is  Communication?

 Communication is simply the act of transferring information from one place to another.






According to NEWMAN AND SUMMER: 

" communication is an exchange of ideas,opinions or emotions by two or more persons".


What Is Written Communication?

Written communication is basically any form of interactive communication that use written words to convey a message. Some of the forms of written communication that are commonly used include memos, electronic mail, job description  among many others. Written communication is one of the main forms of communication, the other being spoken or oral communication.


The some more uses of Written Communication:

1.Written Words.
2.Graphs,
3.Charts,
4.Reports,
5.Diagrams,
6.Pictures,
7.Letters,
8.Circulars,etc.


Advantages of Written Communication:

1.It is accurate and precise.
2.It is a permanent record.
3.It is a legal document.
4.It has a wide access.


Limitations of Written Communication:

1.Time-consuming.
2.Costly.
3.Quick clarification is not possible.
