CARROT AND BEETROOT HALWA

Carrot and Beetroot Halwa is one of the rich contains food and prepaid in Andhra. It is very healthy and tasty food.

PREPARATION TIME: 30 mins
SERVE: 2 or 3 members



INGREDIENTS:
Carrot – 3 medium size
Beetroot - 3 medium size
Sugar – 1 & ½ cup or 150 grams
Boiled milk- ½ litre  
Dry fruits - 1/2 cup
Elachi – 1 or 2
Ghee     - 2 tbsp

STEPS:
1. Fry grated carrot and beetroot in 1 tbsp of ghee in a thick bottom vessel till its rawness is gone.
2. Then add boiled milk and stir it continuously to become a light thick paste.
3. After it become light thick paste then add sugar into it again stir it continuously for 5 mins
4. In the mean while fry dry fruits in 1 tbsp of ghee in a separate vessel.
5. Finally add elachi powder and dry fruits along with ghee.

6. Halwa is ready to eat.
