Rangoli is a
traditional Indian art. The word "Rangoli" derives from Sanskrit and
it means "the expression of artistic vision through the joyful use of color"
or "design in color."
It is done at the entrance of households or a temple (mandirs) on auspicious occasions, especially during the festival of light called Diwali, and is hence a welcoming gesture. It also gives that little extra touch of class and beauty.

In brief,
The colorful
patterns on the doorsteps are not just for decorative purposes; they embody a
deep religious spirit too. They are often dedicated to various deities.
For example:
Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and prosperity, or Ganesh the God of good
beginnings. Mainly women practice these decorations and sacred patterns. It is
an art form that is passed down from generation to generation, from mother to
daughter.
Rangoli, also known
as Muggu, is a folk art from India in which patterns are created on the floor
in living rooms or courtyards using materials such as colored rice, dry flour,
colored sand or flower petals and lamps.
MY CONCLUSION:
Rangoli is a very
popular form of art in India. It is usually drawn by Indian women in front of
their doors or gates. Although the basic color of Rangoli is white, it is dyed
different colors creating an attractive, multi-colored design.
Working women might
face some problems like no time, husbands or in-laws don’t like due to Rangoli drawing
everyday because it’s time – waste. But it is said that in morning, the person
in the living in that particular home …….should not cross out of home without
seeing Rangoli might be it looks like superstitious but there is a meaning
about Rangoli. Whenever you see the Rangoli in front your door or gate everyday
your tension goes out and relieve inner peace (ప్రశాంతత).
So the best way to
draw the Rangoli – just spend one minute because one minute is more enough because
you need to concentrate on more on your kids, elders, cooking, gardening, guests, office time, shopping, paying bills, TV
serials …. Right... but please avoid dots (.).Dots (.) take much time and irritation
too.
Here I am showing small arts and fast performance of arts takes
only 1 or 2 minutes.( i used only white chalk piece or if you want you can use colour chalk pieces)
2) Five Minutes - Arts
4) 5 Seconds - Arts
SO, ALL THE BEST...... IMPRESS YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS WITH YOUR CREATIVES ARTS.......
