GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT PERSONALITIES, DIE WITH THE GREAT DISEASE. - By MaddaliSwetha


Hmmm.....you knew what i am going to discuss today......the word "Great". you might be thinking in a different angle when i mention great ( గొప్ప, అలవాటుగా పని చేయుచున్న, సాధారణం కంటె ఎక్కువ వైశాల్యము) right before going to the topic let's have a small view.



What is the meaning of the word "Great"?

Ans: Very large in size, Remarkable or outstanding in magnitude, degree, or extent, Powerful; influential, and Very skillful.

Recently i heard about these great personalities died.


1. Stephen Hawking(2014): The famous theoretical physicist has helped to bring his ideas about black holes and quantum gravity to a broad public audience. For much of his time in the public eye, though, he has been confined to a wheelchair by a form of the motor-neuron disease Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). On average people live two to three years after diagnosis. But that means that half the people live longer, and there are people who live for a long, long time.




2. Robin Williams(2014): Those of us who only knew him through his movies, was an American actor, comedian, and film maker TV shows, and stand-up. But he served with Chronic depression.


3. Mr Iyengar (2014) was credited with his own brand of yoga died  with kidney problems. Iyengar yoga is now taught in more than 70 countries and the guru's books have been translated into 13 languages. 


4.Bapu(2014) is a music artist, painter, illustrator, cartoonist, and designer. He was awarded the Padma Shri, for his contribution to Indian art and cinema. He also known as Sattiraju Lakshmi Narayana. He experienced a severe heart stroke, passed away on the same day after battling with acute illness.



5.Steve Jobs (2011): He was an American entrepreneur, marketer, and inventor, who were the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. Through Apple, he is widely recognized as a charismatic and design-driven pioneer of the personal computer revolution and for his influential career in the computer and consumer electronics fields, transforming "one industry after another, from computers and smart phones to music and movies. batting with Pancreatic Cancer died in 2011.




6. Mother Teresa (1997) had first been recognized by the Indian government more than a third of a century earlier when she was awarded the Padma Shri in 1962 and the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding in 1969. She continued to receive major Indian awards in subsequent years, including India's highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna, in 1980. Her official biography was written by an Indian civil servant, Navin Chawla, and published in 1992. Death  in 1997 with Cardiac Problems.



7. Richard Kiel (2014), the character actor best-known as the metal-mouthed villain in two James Bond movies, has died at 74, He had been in the hospital since last week recovering from a leg injury.



8. Uppalapu Srinivas  was an Indian mandolin player and composer of the Carnatic musical tradition of Southern India.Srinivas had undergone a liver transplant and was recovering when complications arose on the evening of 18 September. He died on 19 September 2014, due to liver failure.
