REMEMBERING CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION IN MY CHILDHOOD. – By MaddaliSwetha

In my school days, Christmas is the best day ever for all students because after Christmas, New Year, Sankranti holidays follow-ups!

In brief,
In my high school 10th class, students were divided into four groups like Red, Yellow, green and pink. I belong to red (Rose Group).

And again these groups were divided into teams:
Basketball game players
Volleyball game players
Kabadi game players
Long jump and short jump game players

I belong to Basketball game as a team player. As I had busy schedule for me every day morning at 5 am and evening at 5pm – tuition for math’s, science, also school 8 am to 3:45pm. Thus, Hyderabad is a very high competition zone for education.

Christmas is the best day. Also there is no tuition; no school but extra homework remains in holidays too.

Finally your question is here: How Christmas is the best day?

December 25th falls in ending of the calendar as celebrated the day called Christmas.

1. My day starts like this,

2. The cloudy sun rises,

3. Hot water bath,

4. Cleanly ironed school uniform,

5. Snack food – milk, bread, and curd rice with onion pieces.

6. Travelling to school on foot gathering classmates on the way,

7. Greeting elders – Merry Christmas and advances happy new year,

8. Teasing watch man – he is my home guard also school watchman,

9. Red (Roses batch) on my shoulders,

10. Wishing ex-students who specially appear on the day only,

11. Wishing my golden principal,

12. Followed by school activities,

13. In middle of the time, Santa Claus (teacher announcement)

Santa Claus who fulfills our dreams:

We knew that Santa Claus is hiding in one room but we need to search for him – right side building or left side building or straight building at my school is in “U” shape.

On the sudden chocolates fallen from top saying ha ha …….

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way

Even no one knows but until the school activities are going all students search for Santa Claus.

And remember a happy day to see Santa Claus.

Seriously, my question: Jesus is baby, who was born on that day Right! But where Santa Claus came from and who is he?????

Anyhow history is always remains misery but we are human beings! Advances happy Christmas and it's time to say goodbye to 2014 and all bad memories in our diary.
