Recently I saw two movies at Cinema
Hall in my area. My main purpose of visiting cinema hall is to see the screenwriting
in film. Meanwhile I have seen Swachh Bharat advertisement - what we have really
given to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birthday. It’s really great thought
by Mr. Narendra Modi who is the 15th Prime Minister of India. Also Modi was
featured in Time's 2014 Time 100 list of the most influential people in the
world, most followed Asian leader on Twitter and also ranked as the 15th most
powerful person in the world by Forbes.
In brief,
Swachh Bharat or Swachh Bharat
Abhiyan is a national level campaign by the Government of India covering 4041
statutory towns to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country.
In short, description of Swachh Bharat is
known for the tagline “Clean Indian Mission”.
Some
of the Highlights of Swachh Bharat:
1. Gandhiji's thoughts and
beliefs remain a great inspiration for us. Let us dedicate ourselves to
building the India of Gandhiji's dreams.
2. We gained freedom under the
leadership of Gandhiji but his dream of clean India is still unfulfilled.
3. This has to become a
people's movement.
4. I have come prepared to face
any criticism over this programme.
5. If this becomes just another photo-op, it will be a disservice to India.
6. This
campaign is for 1.2 billion people, I will say this 1.2 billion times.
7. Don't trust me or my
government, trust the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, trust his dream of a clean
India.
8. Constructing more toilets is
extremely important. I feel pained when the women of India have to go in the
open to relieve themselves.
My
Conclusion:
Since I am living in Hyderabad
from past 1995 until now 2014+ too I observed these things.
Check lists “what are the Real
duties to be made by Government?”
1. Where is the toilets facility in Hyderabad? – It should be constructed in every ½ Km on roadside not
for every 2 Km.
2. Why Alcohol? – What about
election time 4 mini size bottles for one entire family voter given as free
gift?
3. State bifurcation Telangana versus Andhra Pradesh - Swachh Bharat Event – Popularizing each party members
in Newspaper publicity images, head boards in roads, posters, banners, ads on
the walls in each street, Local news channels – what is this road show?
4. Each police, lawyer, judge are participating in this event – Did there are clearing all pending files and cases
in office and court?
5. First clean your home and water
tanks then participate in Swachh Bharat.
6. I am seeing some people cleaning the streets immediately throw the dust in next colony – Can’t there
write a letter to keep for dustbin “Use Me” by the municipal office to provide
for their colony or can’t there keep a bucket for dustbin until Use Me reach
their homes?
7. Now Hyderabad as become big
software zone area simply once you get job and immediately feeling like “you
are a foreigner just now came to India” such as traffic jam – ringing horn, slapping, scolding, fighting, crossing rules, no hamlet, no seat belt. Best example: when one
person wants to cross line at least you can’t wait for a second in any street?
8. Sound Pollution – If
festival season come immediately big load speakers kept or marriage event or
birthday event too – What is this nuisance? Did you knew how much sound
pollution kills our hearing drums or at least think about animals, birds, infant new born babies, kids,
old age people?
9. These days I am watching
vegetables dust is dump into plastic covers or bags – Vegetable dust can be
converted into pesticides for agriculture and plants. Likewise, please do not
throw food just like that –you can use that food for buffaloes, cows, pigs,
goats. Finally drainage leakage is the main problem in Hyderabad no one cares
about this.
10. Save papers – avoid white
pages books costing 25 rupees and above; try to make a habit of using rough
book costing 8 or 10 rupees. Benefits in using rough books - you can save
money, trees, gums, industrial pollution, wastage and power.
11. In Hyderabad every person
blames air pollution department for heavy traffic pollution zone – First of all
try to plant trees and plants in your home area. Try to make an aim for no
pollution city of Hyderabad also prevent ACID rains.
12. Try to build Water
harvesting in each home or apartment – In Hyderabad nearly 60% out 100% people
are facing drinking water problems and only water Cannes are available. Some
researchers are saying if Hyderabad is facing water problem 2014. In 2021, year
there will be civil war happens in city for water.
13. Do not throw plastic items
in dustbin. Try to handover to paper garbage persons. So, that these items are
used for recycling use and roads construction purpose also.
14. India is greatest country
in the world because we use cotton wear dress and no to foreign clothes such as
silk, synthetic etc. But why nowadays, most of them are ignoring cotton clothes
and even office going employees too?
15. In each home, using
different colour paint for different colour buildings – Did you ever recognize
how colour affects human eyes? Did anyone is caring eye protection?
